Pioneer auto changer issue

I've installed a Pioneer X1BT and got it up and running. I've now come to connecting the auto changer (CDX-P670) but its lifeless. Do I need to isolate the battery and accessory feeds to get the head unit to acknowledge its existence? I've only switched off the ignition (accessory lead connection) so far.

Any help would be appreciated please.

Thanks in advance

it'll need earth and pwr atleast to the stacker aswell as the pbus cord connected from the headunit to the stacker (colour coded)

I checked and you deck does hav the stacker (pbus) port.... all the new screens/decks don't have it

There is power to the changer. The multi core plugs will only fit one way and in to its dedicated socket.

geez man, hope you didn't get a faulty stacker..... when you plug pwr and earth plug in does it make any noise at all? might be worth taking into an audioshop and ask them to plug it into one of there decks there to make sure it works.
