how can i wire this up so i can watch dvds while driving?

think about it ....... not a good idea but if you want to the best thing to use is a pac module

can you provide me with further explanation please? i am not going to be driving and watching movies i just want it to be fully useable.

I have (well had up until last night) the 5900. If you wire up a switch directly from a 12 volt source (accesories preferably) and then to the e-brake wire from the deck, you can just use that. the problem is that you have to hit the switch after the deck is on. I'm not sure of the name for it but it's called something like "double switching".

I know what you mean though.. You can't use the system menu, bluetooth, and a whole whack of stuff with out triggering it.

yeah and iwant it so that i do not have to keep using a switch each time.

I'm not sure if there is a bypass for it.. I honestly never looked. I just pull the e-brake one click..
