I'm installing a pioneer x1bt and there is a cable that connects to the power supply to the reversing lights

Do I need a resistor in series with it as I don't have all the original cables? If I do need to add a resistor, anyone know what size (as in ohms) I need to use please?

sorry cant find any info on a pioneer x1bt... is it a screen with a reverse camera?

Apparently...
1k ohm resistor, or even a straight connection 'apparently' works google 'pioneer fuse resistor'
