PPI 21400.2 + Rockford T2's?

Hey guys, just looking for some advice on my next install coming up. I want to order some subs for the PPI 21400.2 I just purchased. I was thinking the rockford T2 subs would work best for the amount of power the amp has, aswell as my musical tastes etc. ( I ran a T2 12" d2 for a while off a KX1200.1 and was incredibly impressed at the volume output aswell as SQ)

The amp is rated 1400rms x1 @ 4ohm bridged, 700rms x2 @ 2ohm or 350rms x2 @ 4ohm.

The T2's (12/15") are rated 1000w rms

I was thinking of running a single T2 15" with d2 coils wired @ 4ohm load, seemed like a good Idea considering the amp is rated with .02% THD @ 4ohms.Would hopefully be some good clean power, and wouldnt have to overwork the amp.

I was also considering looking into maybe 2 10's or 2 12's aswell.

The car is a 92 VW Golf hatch, so there should be plenty of room to play with for different enclosures or sub configurations. I was also wondering about sealed/ported enclosures with the t2's and how big of a difference it would make.

Any input or even other sub options that may work a little better would be greatly appreciated

Lot's of great subs out there to audition so keep an open mind. The RF T1 and T2's are excellent drivers and I would not hesitate in recommending them for an audition. Yes a single T2 or a pair of T1's would be a fine choice on that amp.

Great choice and combination! Just for curiousity (got the same amp for sale), how much did you pay for it?

I got a smokin deal from a member on a local forum, it was $250 CDN delivered from toronto so I offered gas $$ on top of the original price.

The amp I bought is in I'd say 7-8/10 cosmetically. Could use some new end plugs though (just a bit loose from general use). I havent powered it yet, so if its in 100% working condition I would have to say It was a steal at that price.

Edit: I've been keeping an eye on these amps since I got into the scene about 3 years ago. Ive seen them go for upwards of $300-500 US on other forums and Ebay. I've never had experiences with them personally but they seem to be a rock solid amp for most high-powered applications.
