question about coaxial speakers
question about coaxial speakers
Hi all
i have 2 coxial speakers in the rear of the car that i recently bought they have a nominal power of 280 watts they are connected directly to a Sony cd player that has a power output (45*4) it's works fine to me but it over heats,i want to ask if i use an amplifier let's say(250*2), will that improve the sound quality that much, will it be worth it.
any advice please....

1st i would move the speakers (i dislike bake speakers )
2nd adding an amp will be better then what you have (that is why thay mke them )
you need to look at what the amp can do (say a pg 500.2 will give you 125x2 or 500x1 ) but if you have more power in back of you ,you will hear just the back

Move them up front though, you dont face backwards at a concert, do ya?

I personally like being surrounded by sound, so you don't have high and low spots in volume.
But I do put my best speakers in the doors. But I still have it centered.
But that is just my personal opinion. I've never made a strictly sq system
