hey there, I am wanting to connect my ipod to my stereo and bought a rca to headphone cable. but My deck only has one set of rca jacks on the back and i need two so i can hook my amp and ipod up. so my question is, is there such thing as a rca doubler? maybe called a splitter?
any help appreciated.

 

slow down a second buddy. 1 set of rca,s on a deck is usually a sub output not an aux input but if it is an input you can,t hook it to an amp . you need to find out what those rca,s are for before you destroy your equipment .my bet is they,re subwoofer out puts or a single pair of stereo outputs .

 

hmm. yes they are for a sub. any other way to hook up an ipod to a stereo besides the fm transmitter?

 

not unless theres an input of some sort on the deck , sorry

 

darn... i guess i would have to get a new deck then. any suggestions as to what kind of deck i should look at buying with rca input and output jacks?

you need to ask, what do i need in a deck?

 

one that plays cd's and has all the jacks. you got one you want to sell? of partial trade for the deck i have?

i would look at what toys are you looking at not just ipods

 

what do you men by what toys? like what sub and speakers?

 

some decks have 3 sets of rca's out and 1 in ,some have 4 out 1 in
