Is there any site out there that has a guide to relays. Like what relay to use in a certain situation, what pins, etc... Installers always know this stuff off the top of their head, but that does not include me.

I just get my relays from an electrical supplier, many more combinations than most automotive stores.

Relays are interesting in that they are one of the installer's best friends but also one of the least understood things by most people.

They're a pretty simple animal, learning how they work opens a lot of doors.

Here's a question. Do relays ever get worn out? We have replacement relay's at my shop for tractors and such. Just straight part replacement, but they only get rusted up inside from moisture.
