Talking

So I have stripped down the trunk of the Cavalier down bare bones...now is it a good idea to apply a layer of paintable rock guard and then paint it?

Would this affect my SPL in any drastic way?

Would this work as good sound deadening?

I need some input on this...

Thanks Guys..
