Where is the easiest place to hookup the +12v remote wire in a saturn ion? It has the nice mp3 stereo already, and the battery is conveniently located in the trunk, and im going to tap into one of the back speakers to get a signal. Do i have to go through the wires in the steering column and find the right one or is there an easier place/way?

when I did my fiancee's install in her quad coupe, she didnt want anything running to the front, so i tied into the license plate light, its only on when the headlights are turned on, but you get an on off switch for it that way

Cool idea with the license plate light.
I cant really justify getting another amp, id rather use one of the ones i have sitting around. Any idea where i can get a blade fuse tap to hook into the windshield wiper fuse?

Don't ever use blade fuse taps Once you install one, it s the connector in the fuse box, and must forever be left there. If it's ever removed, the the next owner will be plagued with intermittant wipers.
Find the Acc wire wire coming from the ignition switch, or tap into the wire from the fuse box that feeds the Acc.
Be aware that if you turn your deck off while the engine is running, you'll likely get a big humm from the sub.
You may also have noise if you take your inputs from the back speakers, depending on the amp.
If you do, a ground loop isolated level adapter, grounded to the deck's chassis will fix it.
