06 and you're worried about rust?

You dont see rust on western cars until about 15 years old or so.

Here on PEI they use a lot of salt, But after inspecting the 2 front doors and everything else I haven't seen barely any rust.

Although, When I installed the deck months ago I seen mild surface rust behind HU...Like it comes off if you rub it.

my guess is thats because of condensation from A/C and heat??? also because its usualy just bare steel back there so it naturaly turns orange

Condencation & A/C sounds like it would be it :-].

My RCA's from the deck were on it but they have covers over the ends, YAY.

Dude you live by PEI right?

Well guess where PEI is close too. OCEAN!

Lol and any time you would have your vents open you would get Ocean salty air. Thats more then likely why you had some rust behins your stereo.

I bet my front tires on it lol.

Also if you take it to a professional that does a rust proof properly they cover up your vinyl and speakers and parts of the door that arent metal and just spray the metal. i know hundreds of people who get thier doors sprayed and never have problems with thier speakers afterwards.

But they take it to a pro who covers things up

It's hard to find any "Pro's" Around here, Especially in car audio.

The only place for that is FS...
