Safe to mount amp on rear deck?

as title says, is it safe? The sun will beat down on the amp through the rear windshield. will it over heat? amp is a cheap roadmaster vra4.0. I will be adding 2 computer fans to it, one on each side, one blowing air in, other pulling hot air out.

even without the fans, is this okay? or should I just move around my sub box to make room for the amp on rear of backseat?

if the rear deck is okay, I will eventually fabricate and sink the amp so it is flush with rear deck, and add blue led's.(car is black n blue theme)

get back to me

regards,

Direct sunlight will make the amp really hot. i wouldn't do that.
my amps are mounted under the rear deck. windows are tinted to keep direct sunlight out.

With cooling fans, it should be fine. However, as mentioned above, you will attract the wrong attention with an install like that..."Risk vs Reward"
