and yes the steering wheel housing has to be removed
i think i had to grind down a socket to get at the screws
Yea... Or unless you have a long socket that fits.. Well, ends up I didn't remove the housing and just brute force remove the factory radio and stuck the OEM in. It is not fun and I know that's not the right way...

Anyways, thx for the help here, and finally I get the deck installed (and learn another lesson)

BTW, the wiring harness even I have the right connector, but the ign 12V line seems to be different than what it said on the package... For a moment I thought I got a DOA unit... sigh.

Also, me being cheap, not investing on a $25 mount kit... Well... I am still not sure if I should.

The OEM system is only $100, wiring harness $15. I think it is kinda sad to spent extra $40 on a cheap $100 system... (and the guy even try to ask me if I want to let him to do the installation for another $30)

BTW, it is a Koss MP3 player in case you wonder...
