with the sd 16kd should i use the xs 14v batts or would i b better off with kenitik 16v batts so i can use daily at 12v and 16 at comps and would i need an isolator...im not to smart with all the new ways to run power supply, how does all this s---work, please help

With this amp you wont be needing 16V (unless you are a hardcore competitor), just a solid 12V setup.
If you are limited on batteries the voltages does not matter, with this amp 2x big AGM 12V batteries are stronger than 2x 16V batteries (with less weight), e.g.
