hello i emailed kicker on this one too but i thought maybe you guys could help me out... i had emailed kicker with a question about my subs and they emailed me back and said i should wire the subs in series and the woofers in parrallel.....what does that mean ?...i emailed them back to ask what it means but they have not returned my email yet....any diagrams would help me out, thanks

 

like i know how to wire teh subs in series but what i don't understand is...i thought the subs were woofers...so haw can i wire the subs in series and the woofers in parrallel....i am confused..

 

3 8" L7's dual 2's and a RF 1500 bd amp

 

what do you thiink would be louder...the 3 of them running at 3 ohms getting 375w each or 2 of them running at 2 ohms getting 800w each?

 

yup they are rated at a 900 w peak

 

ok well i had that smae amp running on 2 12" subs that are 500 watts rms...and they worked like a charm...i hav never ever ran anything at rms before...on the guys on here were tlkaing before about a car on the kicker website that had 1 of these subs puting over a 100 watts to it and hitting over 150 db's with the paper to prove it...

 

sorry i meant 1000watts to the single 8"

yup, they are..but i do appretiate the help with the wiring diagrams tho, so thank you for the help
