Should i add second battery? pls read

Hi,
My system consists of the following:
clarion 9275 source
X-over udetermined and Eq too
1 macintosh MC431 (4 x 100wrms, 60 amps)
1 macintosh MC427 (2 x 100 wrms 40 amps)
1 BD1500 (will be run at 4 ohm for daily driving, 1 ohm for Occasional burps if needed...most likely never up to 150 amps)
1 set canton cs2.13 5 1/4" and tweet (running off the MC431)
1 set macrom 59.22 (running off the MC427)
1 brahma 15" running off the BD1500 mostly at 4 ohm
1 Alumapro the CAP 15
Red optima up front, and i also have 1 yellow top that i may install if needed.
the alternator now pushes 90 amps, but i will soon upgrade to 120amps (max available in my budget).
My set-up is to be totally SQ oriented, with plenty tight low end to back it up.
i want the power supply to be as solid as possible, but i can't get any bigger of an alternator.
I'm having a dilema as to whether i should install the second battery or not...
if you were to enter a competition would you install it?
let me know your thoughts and why.
thanks in advance,
Marco

For competition I would add it, just to make sure of a good supply of juice during engine off SQ judging. Also nothing is more embarrassing than not being able to start your car after being judged in SQ. For daily driver that won't see many comps I wouldn't add any batteries.

ahahah, funny you should say that...
I had a guy come pick up a sub from me today and he asked to take a ride on it... so i took him..nothing too fast, since i haven't upped the boost (estimated 420ish hp at the crank when i do...want to dyno test it...) when i would push it, he would laugh...haah kinda funny.
well, you're welcome to, if you are ever nearby on a nice cool night, that;s when it tends to snap necks!
regards,
MArco

i'm expecting that with a good take off it would pull in 12.9. with an amazing take off, i;ve heard of people with the same mods (there;s a few more that i'm not mentioning) pull 12.5-12.6.... now that would be killer!!
Boom Boom, your alternator is probably not powerful enough for what you have in your car... upgrade it first. my prob is that the max alternator i can get will only do 120 amps within budget)...

Z's are actually TERRIBLE off the line (unless you replace the subframe bushings which costs about $2k at a shop because you have to remove most of the rear of the Z). you can get subframe spacers but its only a half fix. on the 3000gt, you just drop the clutch at 5k and you're off. period. the Z can never compare to that! however, i would imagine the Z is a better handler...hummmmm
