no quite done yet.....still got the doors....but this part is finished, wires will be organised nicely dont worry fellas.

thanks....everything takes so long to doo though....hard to juggle the time for the install with school and homework and scratching my ***.....all thats left to do is sound deaden everything and install the door speakers...... lets giver

pics of everything all cleaned up....i know i know, the fuse should be closer to the battery but whatever, just the amps wires are final....i still need to run the wires for the mids....will this install ever end?......

Is that the ONLY fuse in that line? If it is, put a fuse under the hood! The reason why the fuse needs to be so close to the battery is to protect the wire incase the wire housing gets damages (Ie - like a fire wall).

If that is your ONLY fuse:
You could potentially have your firewall cut the wire housing and cause a short further up the line. That fuse won't protect against anything further up the line. For fire safety, please install another fuse under the hood!

i dont quite follow you....the wire runs from the battery to the amp...it travels through a stock gromet in the firewall.....are you saying if it shorts between the battery and the fuse, it could start a fire?

A short in the wire between your battery and the fuse will not take out your fuse. That is why it is always recommended to fuse close to your battery.

And yes...it could start a fire.

aight thanks for looking out guys, i just bought another fuse today to put by the battery.....is it alright to have 2 fuses?
