I have two sound deadeners to choose from. One is eDead other is called fatmat. Both the same thickness of 45mil. I just want to know if they are any good (Ive heard of deadeners that don't stick and are to hard). You guys know if they are good?

I have some product sitting in my basement. I guess I have my answer as to whether or not to install it. Good read, will read through it all very soon.

I didn't make it to the conclusion yet. I've read all night yesterday and I'm only up to page 327 of tome III.
Another 600-700 hundred pages and I'll get to the individual tests.

I've worked with both and Fatmat seems to be Brown Bread under a different name as far as smell, color and feel go. eDead is poop... best bang for the buck is B-Quiet ultimate

 

Now the cost went up from $70 for 50sf to $160 :/... i might just do the doors then

This is way cheaper then B-Quiet ultimate or RAAMmat BXT and apparently is butyl based. But then it might be a scam :/.

google says nothing, the distinct wrinkling in the pic looks like resisto roofing matt but can't be sure without seeing it in person
