Hi, I have some questions on sound deadening..

Currently i have a 5 Cubic foot box in my trunk.. it will not come out unless i dis-assamble it, and i wanna stay away from doing that as much as possible..

Now my trunk makes alot of noise, I have taken out all the rattles, but it still resonates and i wanna minimize on the noise its making outside the car.

Can i simply take some brown bead or compariable sound deadening material and apply it to the trunk lid and the side walls of the trunk and avoid doing the bottom?.. The bottom of the trunk still has the factory inner lining on it.

 

I made some covers for my tail lights that fit over the fixtures on the inside of the trunk....

Made a HUGE difference on rattles outside....

Weighting down the trunk lid with some deadining and a sheet of ply killed the rest.....
