Speaker wire size?

Just wondering what speaker wire size should i use
Currently got 14 gauge

Setup 2 kicker l5's at 2 ohms single output
Powered by 1 Channel v900XD 1000 RMS @ 2 ohm amp
box is 28x 33x 14 6cbft at 32 hertz

I am still kinda wondering if it worth upgrading from 14 gauge to 8 gauge speaker wire

Anyone would suggest getting bigger wire for my setup?

this mainly depends on the length of the wire used.... for speakers its worth getting thicker wire with some noise protection and what not... in my opinion ... but if you have 20cm for the sub it wont do a huge difference- also the "noise free" wires for subs are a knock off- even if they work you wont be able to tell a difference till you are a scope (well if you are running some serious amperage then maybe- since the wire can over heat and burn your cau daun...burn it daun to the guaund lol)

with my experiences, theres no audible different from using smaller awg speaker wire to larger awg speaker wire. i'd honestly no go any larger than some 10awg speaker wire, unless your woofer has direct leads
