I bought a new deck to replace the oem deck in my 2000 Pontiac Sunfire. I was told I need a special wiring harness called a Pac Radio Replacement Interface. Is this correct? Is it fairly easy to install? Feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes you require the proper integration harness for this vehicle. It is a straight forward install with it.

hey my buddy also has a 2000 sunfire and he got some wire harness kit when we unplug the oem deck to hook up his new one there is no sound and the subs and he has hooked up to through speaker level in the back go off. even as soon as we unplug the oem deck they start rumbling

any thoughts?
