ok...new story. i threw the factory harness back on the car wires...just soddered all the propper wires back on to the adapter thing. i got the new harness from canadian tire, and plugged it in, all wires intact...should've worked. but it didnt....any suggestions....or should i just run new wires anyways?

 

start fresh, and run new wires IMO. it simplifies alot in the event of a future troubleshoot.

 

hmm...well im willing to try anything to make it work, so what the hell.
