Alright im a noob and everything on this but this is my questions i have.
I just got 2 Soundstream Tarantula Subs. 900 rms 2300 Burst @ 1ohm .Now what i have in mind for an amp is the Picasso 3500RMS @1ohm Class D amp is that an over kill??
My goal in my life is to blow out the windows. i dont care they just have to go when i go to a comp ....just for show,but anyways is this enough to do it?
But if i need to get more subs i will Im already thinking i need 2 more Tarantulas

You are correct - you're definitely a noob.

This is almost unheard of - as in one or two a year in cars that have *big* money in them.

Forget about the windows and settle for merely going deaf.

 

you can always drill a small hole into the windshield and assist it...or you can cut some pieces of your a pillars and maybe make some braces weaker on the roof.that way your window will flex and break .

other than that...no i dont think you have enough to break anything. glass doesnt break from the sound....the vibrations will break it.....
sorry. but it sounds that you might want is either very expensive or very ..welll....whats a good way to put this.....worthless.

weve seen burps at 170 in adv and no windows breaking. yet ive seen an albertans glass shatter because he had so many rock chips to start with.

 

Stupid semi trucks = lots of chips and plenty of f-bombs.

 

Ok, what about the Amp is that an over kill to these subs or not, Or do i just get more?

 

Does that amp actually put out 3500 rms? Thats my first question.
