trouble with door panel removal in '07 jeep compass

does anyone know how to get them off? no power locks or windows, it's just the base model.

I've removed all three screws that i could find as well as the window winder and the panel wont budge. is there something else in there I'm missing? looks like the tabs inside the panel bend downwards but i cant budge it at all. my local shop has no idea and i tried calling the dealership but they insisted that i bring it in and they can do it. just want to install some new speakers.

has anyone removed the panels on a 2007 jeep compass yet?

Not yet but some of the Dodge and Jeep products the door panels lift up and out and not just pull off. Don't know if that helps

on my 2000 you need to undo 2 at the bace of the door 2 armrest/door handle and the back door has one under the top panel
and you need to pull up and undo the wires and door handle

^ The Compass is new. It's like a Caliber.

Most likely a lift off door panel.
