truck box

ok so... the buick i was looking at was all rotted out so i picked up a gmc c-1500 extended cab...

will subs and port up work better then subs and port forward?

ill only be running 2 12s with 3K to each sub going for more less a loud daily will hit the occasinal comps/shows tho

Plan the box with the tuning you want first. You'll be able to use the space more efficiently with sub & port up. You'll probably be able to use a longer port length for a lower tuning also. "Only" 2 12's on 6k lol, that'll be loud.

What subs? What tuning? What's the max. dimensions you can use? You could probably stuff 2 ported 15's in that all upfire.

i would do 15s but i have the 12s already a wall may happen eventually i have room for 2 batts under hood and then i have 3 for inside total of 5

i know i changed mt mind alot the other 2 cars i looked at were no good so my dad had a truck in his used car lot he picked up for me this is final

you can easily fit 3 maybe 4 15's in there and stay below window line those things are huge

ya im noticing that lol ill stick with the 2 12s for now and once they blow ill go with 15s or maybe 18s or somethin!

ya thats what i was thinking

even tho theres a load of room with 12s i can mess with alot of box designs pau get into chat i possibly have somthing comming here

If you can fit 3-4 15's than do 2 BTL 18's in 12-16 cubes on 4k. Save weight, more cone area, probably louder & lower. What are the dimensions under the window line?
