Just buy a powered sub for a home theater, way less hassle for about the same cost of a battery and a charger without all the mess.

That is a much cheaper way of doing that. For the sake of vendor rules, I have e-mailed you with a good place to purchase from.

Why bother hooking up car amps in your house. You are negating the huge benefits of having a nice high supply voltage by dropping to back down to 12 or 14 volts, then needing to draw all that current...

I have three 90-Amp Cascade Audio Power supplie son my test bench, and each has its own dedicated circuit running back to the electrical panel. I need that because I am forced to test car audio gear, not home stuff.

Woofers on the other hand work awesome in the car!
