Video Bypass install help (PAC TR-7)

I just installed a Alpine IVA-D100, and I heard about a video bypass module that rids the pesky "image off for your safety" warning while you are driving. Anyone have experience in installing such a thing. Ebay has PAC TR-7 for cheap. Keep in mind my deck is already installed in my car.

I have the TR7 on my w200, it works great, easy install, but you will have to pull the deck.

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I will just drive with the e-brake on one click up. Shouldn't do to much damage right? lol

That may become very annoying driving with the E-brake one click up depending on what you drive. My vehicle has a warning chime and automatically turns off the DRLs when the E-brake is pulled. I wouldn't mickey mouse the situation, just get what you need, install it and enjoy.

Like I said, it was prof. installed already and I don't know how much it would be for them to pull out the deck, install the device and insert the deck again. Or if they even will, by law they have to hook up that safety feature. I have done installs myself but this is a 2004 car and I want it to look clean.

You cannot tell that my e-brake is one one click. There is a little red light that stays on in the display, but it's not like it beeps or anything. I'd rather save the $100 and have the e-brake on.
