which way to face sub?

im going to start an install in my new car soon. which will be better if i face the subs forward and seal off the trunk (it has fold down seats) or do the traditional rear firing?

some of the loudest "trunkers" say seal off the trunk with the subs firing into the cab and have the port in the middle of the two subs. It has to be completely sealed though and very stiff.

ya dido......Big azz square port with lots of inches in it........centered?....maybe a divider for the 2 compartments?

its an 2001 grand am

how do i make sure i have a good "seal"?

the box will hold 2 pr's with a port on one side

A good tight fit with the baffle board is a good start, then finish up with expanding foam and the all favorite SPL tape!!!

ill have to look a bit more closly at the truck to se what i can do. but i know for sure im not using expanding foam
