What is the best battery to buy?

Bad for the environment, plus it always sounds better with the engine off
I'll be the first to admit that they are on the pricy side, but I'm looking forward to seeing how well it holds up once I get the bulk of my system re-installed for the spring.

I was surprised how much of a better startup I got with my Yellow top over my OEM. Plus I got a pretty big system and its running strong.

I didn’t look at the yellow top for this but it is good to know it is a player too. It seems they are all decent (or at east good enough) some are just more decent and you tend to pay for the advantages. I was hoping there was an 800 CCA light weight battery out there but there isn’t really. No silver bullets (but lets face it a lead bullet gets the job done).
I want an 800 CCA, 15 pound (7 kilo) battery with 50 deep cycles, >50 AH for 10 hours, long life design like the Hawker and Optima. The only missing piece is the low weight and that looks like it may be a technology threshold of the lead acid design.
