Lol "middle of the road deck"
I used to be narrow minded like you. Till this time last year when I bought the JVC kw-avx810.
Anyone who has this deck would back me up. I'm not sure about there single din's but my 810 and this years 820 are two of the best HU's I've ever seen.

This JVC double din deck sounds no different then my old Alpine W505.

3-4 hours to go. Bondo and some sanding and vinyl.

It's not bad. I do most of the work outoors with a fan blowing it out. The car is done. Here is an email from him:
Hi Julian, I just came back from a short drive. It is 1am in the morning now and I still cannot sleep because I get so excited about the audio system.
I tried all my favorite songs with it and it performed much much more better than before. It is really a nice work. Thank you so much man.

Nice Julian,
I feel bad for not being as much help as I wanted to be.
Maybe next time, when you have a car on a Friday/Saturday, I'll be able to help you out.

The FIT will be worked on for 1 month straight Starting the 3rd of october. The fiberglass sub enclosure will be the toughest part to do - I'm starting there. Amp rack will be pretty straight forward and then the kicks, a pills, battery, wiring, sound deadening etc.

If anyone wants to lend a hand on weekends - I have beer/water and pizza - PM me.

Thanks Doode. I very happy with the turn out. The biggest thing to remember with fiberglass is

1) WEAR LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, PANTS and SHOES or BOOTS
2) Respirator a good one - mine cost $75
3) make sure you have more supplies then you need
4) Cover all the trunk panels - even the outside.
5) Don't Rush the job.
