Regular install of a sony xplod mp3 cd player. I have had this stereo for years and do not have the orginal screws.

I need to bolt the aftermarket plastic dash kit to the cd player. I have a plastic peice that goes on each side. The screws will go into the cd player. I do not have the metal mounting cage.

What are the screws called, what else can I use? are there any cheap ones I can pick up at home depot or similar? What is the maximum length i can use?

^That's gonna be your easiest fix. Otherwise, I believe they're 4mm bolts with a length of 8mm. Most decks have it embossed right on their body.
