what wire size inside sub box ?

While the water analogy for current works well most of the time, when it comes to wire gauge that analogy kind of breaks apart. The only thing that affects current flow is resistance. A thin wire has a higher resistance per unit length, but if the wire is small enough that higher resistance is negligible. If the wire inside the box is short than it may not need to be as thick as the longer wire outside running to the amp.

if you're not into competition, gauge size inside the box doesn't really matter with that size of sub, it's such a short length that it doesn't make a difference...except in comps it can make a big diff (with more power anyway)
Personally, I like overkill, if you got 8 laying around I'd do it! lol Heck I'm running 2 gauge power for a 300rms amp, just because I had it laying around.
