Wow!!
I just spent an entire day laying 20 square yrds of FG into a sub enclosure and I dont think its even 1/4 the thickness it should be Probably be $200 in materials not including a couple of days work. I dont mind playing around on my own cars but I cant imagine how much one would need to charge to make a living doing this, but its more work than I figured it to be. Thumbs up to those that do

Umm.... Sorry I guess when I did the post last night I had been in the garage tooo looong I bought 20 feet x 36" wide so about 6.5sq yrds. Its just a under the back seat enclosure for a 98 ram.
Its tapers from 48-55" wide and tapers from 13-4" high at 18 deep. I have done one layer over the seat bottom (this will be the top) and the bottom and sides are maybe 3/16 thick so I figure I need atleast another 10 sq yrds minimum? As for pictures I am taking them as I go but will figure out how to upload them when I get finished.

Dukk
It just kinda seems a little flimsy still?
I thought about a wood top however my sole reason for doing the FG was to make a recessed area for my jack and tire wrench and still come up with enough cubes for the subs. we will see how it goes when I get back at it on Thursday. Lots to learn but you guys are making it easier
Thanks again
