Judging what I just read on the JL site, I wouldn't. Very low efficiency, shallow mount, odd coil configuration... Is this the only sub that will fit your vehicle? Also the fifth channel on your amp is 300rms tops at 2 or 4 ohms... With 300 watts I would look for a more efficient sub... JL goes on to state that it has high power handling, ie 600rms but with a 85.87 db 1/w/m you will need all those watts to get it loud.... from what I recall an Alpine type X 12 has a higher sensitivity.. Happy hunting

We have had great luck with the Pioneer shallow mount 12". They are not overpriced right out of the gate like the JL Audio (a great sub just massively overpriced at dealer cost). I have a couple in stock that would work for you and they are starting to overstay their welcome here (as in they need to get sold on sale).

theres plenty of storage in my truck bed... but i dont know how well your subs work in the rain, plus its way easier to hear them when there in the cab, you should try it... let me know how it goes.
