winter beater install

winter beater install

so started the install in my winter/daily 1/2 ton:


First pic was me lining up the board,

the next few are the rough mount. still gotta router and carpet or fiberglass.

dont normally use plywood. but had some kicking around and its only for the amps.

When i get more done i'll post up

Well the fronts are gonna run off a old school kicker impluse352 I got for nothing and the class d is a alpine m500. I have ordered a Ssl cl10d sub, got it new for $30. Gonna run 1x 10" under the dash above the tranny hump.

And a crappy jenson deck.

so i took my 12" out and slapped in my old school "dr crankenstien" 10"... in a old sealed box. and i've gotta say. that little crankenstien sub is kinda nice...lol.


Its probably gonna melt off my alpine.,... but hey... its fun while it lasts.

dr crankenstien is a good name ... i had 2 10's back in the day on a 4000 watt orion monoobloc

Actually, it sounds decent. but i cant turn the power up to high or you can hear the life being sucked out of it.
