Wire speakers
Anyone know how to run from the amp speaker outs to the factory speaker wires? I was lazy with our last car. When I bought the amps, they included install. I am adding a 4 channel amp to our new car. I really don't want to run wire into the doors.

You mean tractor pull?
Pull out your head unit...
cut all 8 speaker wires
to make this dummy friendly get yourself a streetwires umbilical cord
(it contains all 8 speaker wires and a bonus remote wire)
now extend the factory speaker wires all the way to your amplifier
and tape off the other end of cut speaker wires that go into your head unit
I'm guessing you will be using just regular speaker wire... make sure you stay in phase
once you have extended all your wires to the amp you can check polarity using a AA battery or what have you... attach a negative wire to - on the battery and tap the + speaker lead to the + lead of the battery.. doing this should move the cone out... if it moves in you have wired this speaker out of phase
what car?

Incase you don't have a basic calibre vehicle..... run the wires to the speakers, don't be lazy. Lets say you had a Bose or Infinity based system with a factory amp in the door, you would end up running new wiring. It really does not take that much more time to run the wiring to the speaker in the door.
