Wiring Help
hey i was just wondering if i was only running power cable from my battery through the fuse to the amplifier i do not need anything else other then this. i am planning on upgrading to 0/1 ga wiring. any help is very much apreciated

I think he was only implying that you need the proper ending connections to connect it to the battery, fuse, ground and amp if nessecary.
You should note that the electrical 'chain' is only as strong as it's weakest point. So be sure to upgrade everywhere (aka 'the big 3'):

- amp to ground
- chassis to battery -
- alternator to battery +
- chassis or battery - to alternator ground

if i bought 25 feet of o guage wiring would it be enough to do the big 3...if not aproximatly how many feet would i need
i would also like some info on these bus bars as i have an opening for a project in my shop class

I dont know your vehicle, but I know my car took about 1 ft for battery ground, 7 or 8 ft for alternator to battery power, and 1/2-1ft for engine ground. So your looking at 10ft for Big 3, another foot or 2 for your amp ground, and 13-18ft for your amp power, totalling at 30ft of 0/1 AWG... Plus terminals which are expensive...
Bus bars are basically this:

All the "O" are positive or negative posts, you traditionally make a bus bar for your batterys positive and negative, allowing you to use a ridiculous amount of power and ground wires. This is not remotely necessary unless you are in competitions, or are powering your neighbourhood.
