SQ confuzzles me
Hi there, my name is Justin and i have a 1984 Toyota Cressida (old skool JDM FTW!)
I used to care about nothing but really really loud bass then I had my stereo stolen and I left car audio all together. I decided to go really fast and drift as stealing a car is a bit tougher then stealing a stereo. However going really fast means getting really big tickets
So I went and bought this car with the intention of swapping in a 1JZ and using it to drift but to be honest i just like driving it to much to do that to it.
I was bumming around on kijiji one night and found an Orion P12D2 NIB for $50! SO i bought it and decided i would put a better stereo in the cressi. I built a 2.5cuft slot ported box 2 weeks ago then realized That just isnt what I want anymore. so yesterday i built kick panels out of MDF (didt go to well I will be doing 'glass ones shortly) changed the box to 1.5 sealed re set the amp and now i am much happier. thanks to my terrible kick panels i have my balance set 3 points to the left hahaha but that will get sorted soon enough.
So I guess that pretty much brings you up to speed so far. I have been lurking the SQ thread for the last few weeks trying to soak up as much info as possible as Ive never even thought about doing an SQ system before. I have a few SQ related q's but i will put those in the proper area.
