cool seen that at work before [img]smile.gif[/img]

 

about 3 days after I start with hydro the motor craps out on one of the motor operated line disconnects (the thing you saw in the video)

so we have to operate it by hand bia the hand wheel .....keep in mind I've never seen this stuff before, it's my 3rd day

anyhow my operator give me the switching gloves and says start cranking as fast as you can and no matter what happens don't stop ..........

me not knowing what to expect thinks .....uh ok

so I start cranking and the arcing starts happening right above my head ..........so I start to slow down and he yells what the **** are you doing keep cranking or you'll end up with melted metal on your head if it arcs long enough ........ so I cranks her open and the the arcing stops


damn was that ever a rush .......... my heart was beating so fast I thought I was having a heart attack ...... [img]smile.gif[/img]

 

Wicked!!!!!! Thats the same stuff I work on as well, but never had the pleasure of seeing that before...Probably die if I did...
