I'm assuming it will be comparable to the pricing on the Charger.

IMO the Challenger is the best retro car yet....the camaro looks pretty close to the old style, the Mustang isn't bad either, but the Challenger is almost DEAD on, with the body anyway, Dodge did a real nice job with this one. Although I still think they have thier heads on backwards for building a 4 door car and calling it a Charger.

I agree, how did dodge figure they could make a 4 door car and call it a charger? doesn't even resemble the old chargers.

I'm not really all that keen on the new mustange either, they looked better in picture.

Wow if they are actually going to put that into production. DAMN!! Thats nice and I'm not even a Dodge guy. I think i would buy the Camaro over the Challenger, just cause I like GM. But that is damn sexy.

I don't think they look identical or anything, but they certainly remind me of each other.

Although this is off topic... The Charger has always represented the current trends. In the 60s and 70s it was 2door RWD muscle coupes. LAte 70s it was fugly touring coupes. In the 80s it was a 2door FWD coupe. Today it is a 4door muscle sedan - right along with the Impala SS, Lincoln LS, BMW, Lexus, etc. Of course there are lots of differences in all those cars but the name of the game these days is the Muscle Sedan and the Charger is a great example of one. Only since the new Mustang came out last year has there been any sort of real revival to a Muscle Coupe. Hell GM couldn't even keep the Camaro on the line sales were so slow.

You want sacriledge to the Charger nameplate? Look at anything from 1975 to the mid 80s. nasty:

Hehe, those 80's Daytona's were pretty sad too.

Seems to me the 80's were the worst years for a lot of cars.....remember the 70 Nova? Now remember the 80 Nova. Looked like a Corolla.

The Tempest and LeMans? Yuck!

Ford did good with the Mustang in the 80's and Gm with the Camaro's and T/A's/Firebirds.

But I think anything that wasn't a muscle car was ugly.

I liked the 80s Daytona/Laser

and the 91/92 Irocs were actually pretty fast:
