5km/h Speeding Ticket
if there were other cars around you infront or behind that can help in your favor, like the radar picked up a different car, or if the cop was sitting near power lines could screw up the radar, it cant be proven but it is reasonable doubt.
My system wasnt too loud, but I dont know how it sounds outside at that medium volume. I was mastering my own music, so it had to be at a medium at least.
The bandanna probably didnt help for the decision to be pulled over.
I do have other offences, which are going to drop in the next 60 days after three years! So, I think I will just pay the damn fine. My family has been with the same insurance agent for over 20 years, maybe he will cut me some slack.
Come to think about it, the cop was a good guy. I realize that I am often pulled over for my appearance, but I have nothing to hide. We talked for a bit when he asked where I was comming from. When I said UOIT, he knew all about it, and turned out we took some of the same courses with the same professers. After telling him I'm just finishing my fourth year, he knew I wasnt some punk kid.
I get pulled over once a week, and I drive a Saturn SL2, not an escalade. When they search my car, all they find is my textbooks and fishing gear
Did I mention that my liscense has been suspended before? I was pulled over for going 50km/h over 3 years ago, when I was going 120 and the radar must have caught the guy beside me. The cop was perhaps in his 70's and I dont think he could see very well. So anyway, I hired a lawyer who set a date, and never showed up to court. Yada Yada Yada, a year later he gave me back my money and I am stuck with this suspenstion that wasnt my fault, for a ticket that wasnt mine. Cops however dont know the story, nor do they beleive it. I think thats another reason why they dont hesitate giving me tickets.

dude fight the ticket. you might as well waste their time, effort and money. i cant believe you got a 5km over ticket in scarb, the cop must have been very bored.
the cop isnt a good guy, he's the punk. giving you a BS ticket and then chatting up with you about school? that's a bitch move. should have rolled up your window in his face once he gave you the ticket and driven off.
PS. a cop is NEVER a "good guy".

I dont like cops any more than the next guy, but this guy didnt treat me like I had a gun, or was trafficing cocaine. He asked me like a normal human being.
Last time I was pulled over it was at night, they shone the light at my car, one on either side. The drivers side one shone a light in my eye and had his hand hovering over his glock. The passenger side one drew his gun and held it at his side, I only saw cause it was apparent in my mirror. Now some of you are going to say "Theyre not allowed to do that", but they did.
I've had my fair share of time being pulled over. This cop was a nice guy.
Some friends are saying that judges will realize that no one gets pulled over for 5km/h and it was most likely dropped down from a higher charge. Especially if the cop shows up. I forgot to say in the last post, he was a good cop cause he reduced it.

You need to be in care and control of your vehicle. Not being able to slow down your vehicle is not exactly the right answer.
I would fight it. Clearly its more enjoyable to waste everyone's time.
You got pulled over because you looked like a punk kid, you got profiled by the police and they acted on it.
Thats B.S.
Tzu got pulled over cause cop probably though Tzu may have a controlled substance. Cop just needed a valid reason to pull Tzu over: speeding.
Tzu, did you check that forum yet?
