I use the google toolbar, and adaware run every now and then, I rarely get any pop-ups and feel very safe about both products. Some people try to tout the fact that the toolbar "tracks" you, but it's actually keeping a score of the websites you visit so it can rank them.. You can turn that feature off if you want to feel "safer".

That is the most ANNOYING piece of spyware EVER especially the ones that add their own toolbar that everytime u disable it the next time u opena window or just recently refresh the web page and it pops back on there!

I'll bet that all of you with pop up problems are running Windows XP. I have the same problem with my home system running XP pro. I use Windows 98 at work and surf the net as if I were at home and guess what? I have yet to get a pop up.

Fix for pop ups?...Switch to good old win 98!

Yah no I like XP better looks nicer runs better better features [img]tongue.gif[/img] not THAT man pop ups lol
