Alarm System
I need a few good recommended alarm systems.
Im not driving a porsche, if my car is stolen, I don't care where it gets driven too.
Granted, I know I had this coming since I left my windows down and my door unlocked (and my system up), but someone managed to grab all my **** from my Glove Box including my Cobra 9110 Detector, and my personal GPS... about $250 worth of goods.
Now I know alarms won't help me there, but my dad just got his brand new laptop stolen from his car, back window smashed (was a rental), and now its gone. To prevent this from happening to my audio system, I need a good alarm.
Remote start I do not care about... its Manual transmssion anyways. Remote Trunk isn't nessessary either (since my car doesn't have it. I have limited power doors (no switch, but if I push the driver side **** it locks / unlocks).
Any suggestions would be great, also if anyone knows a good place to get it installed.

I suggest:
1. dual-sector proximity sensor and is EASY to adjust
2. pager
The sensor helps to make noise when someone goes in thru a window or something. The pager is good if you're out of earshot (with a bad wind, sometimes it's not too far) or if they find your siren(s).
If you're gunna install yourself, I suggest making one siren your chirp siren (connect it to the "SIREN" wire) and another to your "ALARMING OUTPUT" wire. This was, they can hunt down your chirp siren by tapping the car but in full-alarm, your "backup" siren goes.
As for brands, I like my Alpine SEC-8063. But, any Alpine that has proxiity and the pager control is nice.
