Just wanted to know if it is as scary as it was made out to be. Heard that it was'nt allowed to be shown in movie theaters, it,s been a long time since I've seen a genuine scary movie.

yeah its been a while since a good scary movie was put out. I was hoping "28 days later" would be it, but it just wasn't scary enough...

Not really scary. More intense than anything.

You will either like it, are hate it.

The only truely scary movie in my books was the exorcist. all the old onez have some scary sense to them the new onez are just crap. They're good sometimez yes but like scary NO. They say 'scary as hell' or 'scariest movie ever' in the promoz on tv but they aren't. It takes a lot to make a movie scary these days I guess. Did anyone see Freddy Vs Jason?

I was going to say Exorcist! I saw it when I was about 12 and man that was a mistake because it scared me then. Had I seen it now it still would have creeped me out but not had the same impact as when I was 12. If you are going to watch the Exorcist for the first time ever, watch it alone in the dark. Do it by yourself! It will scare you!

Yeah I've tried to watch this movie twice. First time I got just past the beginning where stuff starts happening in the room. And then I slept with the light on for a week and I cannot sleep on my back EVER now lol. The 2nd time I was force to watch it I had a pillow or a comic book infront of my face the entire time and just listened. I slept with the light on for 2 weeks after that lol.

The problem must be originallity, it's harder to find something that we have'nt seen or heard of, thus it is that harder to shock us. The last time I jumped from my seat was watching Proof of Life with Russel Crowe, man when that car bomb goes off in the middle of the movie, I filled my pants.

Red face

The problem is Rob Zombie. He's retarded, hasn't made good music in the past 8 years, and produces bad cheezy horror movies that are funny rather than scary. Period.
