Anyone from calgary ab
does anyone in the calgary or surrounding alberta need any good equipment? as i have too much and my ride dont handle it all, im selling my Memphis MOJO 4000k amp and a 1500 watt Clarion dual voice coil sub with box, if wanted or know anyone that wants them let me know and i hope to hear you around the city!
As for quality shops, Mobile Solutions of Calgary (already mentioned) and Audio Concepts are the only games in town IMO. Noone touches these guys for quality both in builds and equipment available for purchase. As for Visions, they are pretty much a joke in my books. I have had work done by a few of their shops in the past and ended up paying more for someone else to redo the job correctly or ripping it all apart myself and doing it right. The S MacLeod site is a little better it seems but I still wouldn't trust them with my vehicle.
All of the comps around here seem to be spl related. not my cup of coffee. There is actually one this weekend in Lethbridge. It sounds like spl is your thing so maybe you should go check it out. If you do say hi to Bob for me. He is a cool guy to chat with. The one I am looking at attending is later in the summer in Creston. I, honestly don't really know if there will be any more sq at this one either but I do want to go to one of these things someday soon. I also might see if I can find a way to get out to Vancouver for one of the later summer shows - maybe even western finals possibly. I don't know if I will be able to swing the time off for that however.
What's in this car for equipment? I have been looking to hear a top quality sq car especially if they are carrying equipment that I have no access to hearing here. You guys are probably the closest car audio center to where I live actually.
I finally noticed the link at the bottom of his invitation describing the vehicle. As nice as it will be to hear this vehicle as I'm sure it will be impressive with all that stuff, it is stuff that I have heard before too... I was kinda hoping it would have some stuff not available around here. I have listened to a 2 way Pioneer PRS set head to head with Audison Thesis 2 way up at Mobile Solutions already. In that instance I liked the midbass on the Pioneer but the Thesis tweet was alot nicer in my opinion. Of course, the price was about double for the Thesis too
