Question Anyone notice msn taking a while to add a contact?

Over the last couple weeks i've noticed it takes like 2 days half the time before msn agrees to add a contact to my list. It'll add them halfway, but the message window constantly says add contact and you can't see a person's status or anything as they appear offline.

This annoys me quite a bit when you're try'n to add someone you need to deal with. Anyone else run into this ?

I was having problems adding people to my list when I was running messenger Live, would show them as being offline even when they weren't. I downgraded to ver 7.5 and had no problems since.
