Another day full of no's and our apprenticeship program has resently been canceled.

 

a lot of apprenticeship programs have been cancelled, Bob Rae cancelled al the incentives for companies to train apprentices.

works out good for me, that means that once I've got my sparky's license, I'll be paid more, because I'll be in more demand.

 

Yep alot of programs cancelled, I am off to pillars, schnieders, and westons today to begg for an apprenticeship.

 

schneiders could be good.. they have a great employees only store where U can get hella cheap stuff.

 

have you ever tryed calling your local union??? usualy they can sign you up and get you a job

 

I'm a member of the Kitchener local.. I've been laid off since january, there's no freakin work.

I'm a 3rd year apprentice, and a member in good standing with local 804, and honestly, if I thought that the union was a good place to start at this time, I'd tell him so.

 

Well I have considered the union but like sass I have not heard alot good right now.

Sass are you doing RES or industrial?
