Maybe someone will replace him and get some things resolved for once. Nah, it's the middle east.

Don't worry, most of America doesn't know who he is either...

Where I'm at now though, the flags have been lowered to half mast, and the Mosque's are putting in extra prayers.

A truly classy world leader has left us.

For those that don't understand his truely unique former political position:

Arafat would be the Canadian equivelent to the Prime Minister, Premier of Ontario, and Govenor General. What is unique is that he would hold all 3 positions at the same time.

So to comment on X's remark, there will actually be 2 or 3 people replacing him. If these 2 or 3 people are not working together, the situation in Isreal/Palistine will be worse. I'm betting it will get worse before it get's better.

And for those that can't "Remember". Today is the 11th day of the 11th month.

What are you doing at 11am?

Adam

Bit of a catch 22 regarding Arafat's death.
On one hand he is the only real person that could keep things together. On the other he was also the main reason there hasn't been any sucessful peace.
