I am convinced that when entering a room, a cat will find either:
a) a fresh pile of laundry, or failing that,
b) the most uncomfortable item in the room
to lay down on. I once put by book binder from school down on the table, bam! Two seconds later a cat is laying on it.

 

My cat seems to enjoy sleeping on the mixing board... Don't know how that can be comfortable.. millions of ***** poking you..
