I'm hooked back up with internet and telephone thru Shaw Digital...

I am back amongst the land of the civilized!!

Still not out of the hole yet, but paying for pay as you go cell phone was costing me more than doing this..and as far as the internet,its almost as much for cheap dialup as it is for the litespeed internet thru Shaw, so it only made sense...besides,I've got some things on the go right now where internet is going to become a very good friend...

dude I dont know why anyone bothers with lite speed internet there's not much of a difference. If u want high speed just get highspeed don't humor urself with lite its not even close. Its high speed or not at all IMO.

^^^ If he can't afford the top then lite it is... I might cut my costs back abit and downgrade my service.. most stuff I download is torrents and I have a 5 meg service... I get maybe 200k/sec if that...

Yeah thats basiclly what it comes down too...theres about a $20 differernce in hi-speed and lite-speed...yeah, its not quite the same, but its hell of alot better than nothing and better than paying some $15/mth for 10 hours of dial up.....

I know what your saying Blind, but right now I watch every penny...$20 is 3/4 of a tank of gas right now...and trust me,when things straighten out,I'll be getting full highspeed again.. [img]graemlins/beer.gif[/img]

 

It's got to be Shaw Extreme 1 internet for me. Keep in mind I don't have cable TV, Sat TV, or home phone to pay for, so I might aswell have the best internet.

 

/\/\/\Sorry...I'd love too, but I'm going to have a hard enough time making it to the August 21 3x show here in town....

I'm likely..cough cough..oh sorry...this "cold"(giggle)is getting to me...anyway, I'll likely have to...cough..cough...find some way...cough cough...to sneak out of work...

And as much as I don't want too, after that show,I'll likey yank my box out for a while to save on the weight and improve my gas mileage a little...

Hopefully next year I'll be in a "postion" where I can travel a little more....but right now, having only my Weds and Thurs off as a weekend really sux!!!Makes it impossible to do almost anything!
