the design you used has a difference of 173 cubic inches, about 1/10 of a cubic foot. in a vented box of 2 cubic ft we are talking about a 5% difference. if you could audibly tell the difference in a vehicle between the 2, i would stand on the roof of my car and shoot sparks out my a$$

i appreciate you showing me how its not accuarate with square vents using the box walls as part of the vent. if you dont use the box sides as part of you vent then its accurate, its also accurate if you use round or triangular shapes ports as well. woofer parameter differences from manufacturers published t/s params would make a bigger impact than a minimal volume change was what i was getting at
if anyone could tell the difference in sound, in a car with a 5% difference in box volume, i will do it

I guess I worded it poorly.
I have tons of experience with Bass Box.. just ask if you need anything. IF I can't help then I'll ask this home audio guru that I know.. he knows it better then I do.. dont be afraid to ask. I'll help any way I can.
